I spent the day in hospital linked up to ECG machine and having blood tests.
I ended up in A&E because I honestly thought I was having a heart attack.
Symptoms I experienced were : dizziness, cramps in my lower legs, a pain sitting around the left side of my breast bone, I had woken with an awful headache, my hands were cold and I couldn't get them warm, the pain kept fading then returning, I had pain in my left shoulder and shoulder blade....
It all felt different to my normal gallbladder flare ups.
The hospital were great and friendly. After a few hours they were able to rule out a heart attack.
They think I was having spasms of my esophagus which was shooting pains around my chest.
It was very frightening.
They have increased one of my medications to get me through to my operation and have told me to rest.
I'm just relieved it wasn't my heart.
