So many foods trigger me.
But my go to food, time and again is, homemade oat bread.
I bought a bread making machine and it was the best thing I done.
This is the recipe for the oat bread I make
2 tablespoons of cooking marg or olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
400g plain flour or 1/2 wholewheat
40g porridge oats
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 & 1/2 teaspoon dried active baking yeast
For a sweeter treat I add
75g sultanas (added when the dough bleep sounds)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon all spice
It creates a heavy dense bread. But it's really gentle on my stomach and gives me relief from too much acid sitting in my stomach. It seems to soak up everything in my stomach and carry it out.
I have the sweet version on its own.
The other one I will have tuna or a small tin of baked beans.
